Supporting Neurodivergent Faculty
Date: Friday, February 20th, 2026
Time: 11:00 am- 12:00 pm
Location: Westside Hall 112
Neurodiversity is the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many ways. There is no “right” way of thinking, learning, and behaving; differences are not viewed as deficits. This interactive in-person session is meant to be an inclusive space for faculty of all neurotypes to gather and talk about the strengths and needs of neurodivergent faculty. It will explore information about the rates of neurodivergence of faculty in higher education, barriers in the work environment, and possible classroom issues that may emerge. Please join us as we discuss strategies to affirm the strengths and support the needs of neurodivergent faculty.
